Devondale Murray Goulburn (MG), Australia’s largest dairy foods company, has appointed Albert Moncau to the role of Executive General Manager – Dairy Foods.
The dairy giant said that Mr Moncau will assume his new role on 8 April with accountability for Marketing & Innovation, Domestic Sales and the international business.
Mr Moncau, who will be reporting to Managing Director Gary Helou, brings extensive commercial and leadership experience from a broad range of industries globally.
He spent eight years as Managing Director of HJ Heinz in Southern Europe, China, and most recently Australia and New Zealand, and has also worked for Mattel Inc., where he led the successful development of new business in Eastern Europe, Middle East and Africa.
Mr Moncau holds a Degree in Business Administration and a Master of International Management from ESADE Business School of Barcelona, Spain.
Devondale Murray Goulburn, which is also Australia’s largest dairy exporter to the major markets of Asia, the Middle East and North America, received approximately 3.4 billion litres (37% of Australia’s milk) and generated sales revenue in the excess of $2.9 billion in 2013/14.
The company produces and markets a range of consumer and food service brands, including its flagship Devondale brand, as well as a range of dairy ingredient and nutritional products.
