Paying Super Can be Easier

June 7, 2011 • News, Technology

Opposition leader Tony Abbott revealed today that under a Coalition government, small business will have an easier option to collect and forward employees’ superannuation payment.

The Opposition leader will pledge to allow small business to remit the payments made on behalf of their employees direct to the Australian Tax Office (ATO) at the same time as they made their PAYG payments. ATO would then forward the payment to various supperannuation funds.

Oppositions believe the streamlined measures will help cut bureaucratic red taps, allow small business owners and managers to spend more time with their family and bringing in higher profits.
