Victorian Manufacturing Hall of Fame Awards

The Victorian Manufacturing Hall of Fame celebrates the heroes of Victoria’s manufacturing sector – those companies and individuals who are leaders in their field, locally and internationally.

Call for Nominations

The Hon. Richard Dalla-Riva MLC, Minister for Manufacturing, Exports and Trade has called for nominations for the 2013 Victorian Manufacturing Hall of Fame.

Nominations are called for in the following categories:

  • Hall of fame Inductees
  • Manufacturer of the Year Small Business (<20 employees)
  • Manufacturer of the Year Medium Business (20-99 employees)
  • Manufacturer of the Year Large Business (>100 employees)
  • Young Manufacturer of the Year
  • Hall of Fame Honour Roll

Nominations close Friday 15 February 2013. Please complete the 2013 Manufacturing Hall of Fame Nomination Form by this date.

The awards will be announced at the 2013 Victorian Manufacturing Hall of Fame Gala Dinner to be held on Tuesday, 7 May 2013 at the Palladium Ballroom, Crown Entertainment Centre.

Manufacturing Hall of Fame inductees

Induction into the Hall of Fame is an honour reserved for Victoria’s elite, multi-award winning manufacturers.

Manufacturer of the Year – Large Business

This award recognises the best in class manufacturer employing more than 100 employees.

Manufacturer of the Year – Medium Business

This award recognises the best in class manufacturer employing between 20 and 100 employees.

Manufacturer of the Year – Small Business

Recognition of a best in class manufacturer employing less than 20 employees.

Young Manufacturer of the Year

Thus Award has been established to publicly acknowledge commitment to and demonstrated pursuit of excellence in Victorian manufacturing.

Manufacturing Hall of Fame Honour Roll

The Honour Roll is reserved for individuals who’ve made valuable contributions to the manufacturing sector and broader community over many years.

Enabling Technology Company of the Year

This award recognised enabling technology companies whose products, processes or services have been successfully taken to market.Nominations are not being called for this category in 2013

Enabling Technology Entrepreneur of the Year

Recognised entrepreneurs who had developed or commercialised enabling technologies.
Nominations are not being called for this category in 2013
