The Textile, Clothing and Footwear (TCF) Small Business Program offers grants of up to $50,000 for projects to improve the business enterprise culture of established small businesses manufacturing textiles, clothing or footwear in Australia, or designing for manufacture in Australia.

Grant applications are invited from established small businesses or consortiums, who have not received grants from other TCF programs, for projects to be undertaken in 2013/14. Applicants must:

  • have fewer than 20 employees;
  • undertake eligible textile, clothing and footwear activities (defined by TCF SIP, see application form);
  • have a turnover more than $100,000, and must be solvent and not under any administrative arrangements; and
  • make a minimum cash contribution to the project of more than 25%.

To obtain the word-fillable application form, phone the AusIndustry hotline on 13 28 46 or email [email protected].

AusIndustry will conduct workshops nationally commencing Wednesday 30 January 2013, focused on making your application more competitive.

The workshops are recommended for applicants who have reviewed and confirmed their eligibility, have a specific project in mind and have started writing their application. Successful projects must transform the strategic approach or direction of the business, including systems and operational processes, to make the business more sustainable and internationally competitive. Refer to the Customer Information Guide for advice on competitive project applications.

To register for the workshop click on the session below that best suits you. Alternatively, or for more information, please phone the AusIndustry hotline on 13 28 46, or email [email protected].
