Australian Made Campaign Ltd is encouraging its licensees to maximise the impact of the Australian Made, Australian Grown logo by using it across a wide range of marketing channels to promote their local manufacturing credentials.
Australian Made said the logo can be effectively used on product packaging such as labels, boxes, wrappers or swing tags, helping consumers instantly identify genuine Australian-made goods.
It can also be displayed at point-of-sale locations through signage, posters and shelf displays, which the organisation says is important, given that 84 per cent of Australians are more likely to purchase a product when they know it is Australian Made.
The organisation is also advising licensees to integrate the logo into digital assets, including websites, e-commerce platforms and social media content.
It suggests that displaying the certification mark online can increase consumer trust, particularly among those who prioritise local production. Businesses are also encouraged to feature the logo in email marketing campaigns, newsletters and even email signatures, where applicable.
For companies seeking media attention, Australian Made recommends including the logo in press releases to reinforce credibility.
Likewise, in tender documents and business proposals, the logo can support a company’s positioning as a local supplier, which may appeal to buyers prioritising Australian products to mitigate supply chain risks.
The logo’s visibility at trade shows and expos, as well as its inclusion in video content such as commercials or behind-the-scenes footage, is also encouraged to help boost recognition and differentiate local businesses from competitors.
To support these efforts, Australian Made provides a downloadable Licensee Asset Pack – a ready-to-use toolkit of promotional materials that businesses can apply across print, digital and social platforms.
Additionally, eligible licensees have the opportunity to participate in the Australian Makers video series, a co-branded content initiative that showcases local manufacturing stories.
