Ego Pharmaceuticals Chief Executive Officer and Director Dr Jane Oppenheim has been inducted into the Victorian Manufacturing Hall of Fame’s Honour Roll for Service to Industry, recognising her more than three decades of contribution to innovation and growth in Australian manufacturing.

Announced in Melbourne, the honour acknowledges Dr Oppenheim’s role in advancing the nation’s dermatological skincare manufacturing and her leadership in driving technological and production excellence.

Ego Pharmaceuticals said Dr Oppenheim has been instrumental in transforming the company into a global innovator, with her work spanning scientific product development and large-scale manufacturing growth.

Under her leadership, the company said it achieved an average 12 per cent compound growth in production over the past decade and established a new global headquarters and distribution centre.

“I am truly honoured by this recognition,” Dr Oppenheim said. “I believe in the power of a robust, high-technology manufacturing industry to create skilled jobs and add value to our community. I am passionate about fostering an environment of innovation and sustainability that benefits not only our company but all of Australia.”

Ego Pharmaceuticals said Dr Oppenheim’s contributions extend beyond the company, highlighting her involvement with the Australian Self Medication Industry and the Victorian Government’s Advanced Manufacturing Council.

The company said her induction into the Honour Roll reflects her longstanding commitment to strengthening Australia’s manufacturing capabilities and supporting the broader health and skincare sectors.
