Sungrow has been named the number one inverter and residential battery manufacturer in Australia for 2024, according to new data released by solar industry authority SunWiz.
The rankings, based on comprehensive analysis of Australian market installation figures for 2024, were announced in early 2025, the company said in a media release.
The dual recognition highlights the strong demand for Sungrow’s solar technology and battery storage systems, and the confidence that local distributors, installers, and consumers place in the company’s products and support services.
Joe Zhou, Country Director of Sungrow Australia, said the achievement marks a significant milestone for the company’s long-standing commitment to the local market.
“With 12 years in the Australian market, Sungrow has delivered over 400,000 systems, powering Aussie families and businesses. Thank you for your ongoing trust and support,” Zhou said.
“Backed by strong local service and a proven track record, Sungrow will continue to bring clean, reliable energy to homes and businesses across the country.”
SunWiz’s annual rankings are widely regarded as a benchmark within the Australian solar sector, tracking market performance and shifts in technology uptake.
The company said it remains focused on delivering high-performance, safe, and sustainable energy solutions tailored to Australia’s evolving energy needs, with the broader goal of supporting the country’s transition to a cleaner and more resilient energy future.
