XTEK’s HighCom receives $2.8M ballistic armour order from int’l customer

XTEK Limited’s HighCom Armor Solutions business has secured a $2.8 million order to supply its high-end ballistic body armour products to an undisclosed international customer. 

Scott Basham, CEO of XTEK Group, said thousands of individual items included in the purchase order will be shipped to the end user in multiple batches, with the first coming initially from inventory and then the remainder being produced over the coming weeks. 

HighCom continued to win material new orders from militaries, law enforcement, and first responder customers all around the world for its ultra-lightweight and high-performance specialist ballistic armour products and solutions, according to the CEO. 

“This order, from an undisclosed international customer, which is valued at A$2.8m, is a testament to the hard work and professionalism of our US and International teams, who continue to be highly engaged with customers in global hotspots who are seeking to rapidly acquire large quantities of advanced high-end body armour,” Basham said. 

In an ASX announcement, XTEK said it continues to engage closely with customers in global hotspots on multiple deals. 

The XTEK Group is comprised of XTEK and its wholly owned subsidiary HighCom Armor and operates as two distinct divisions – Ballistics Division & Technology Division. 

XTEK recently proposed to seek shareholder approval to change its ASX-listed entity name to HighCom Limited at its Annual General Meeting on 23 November 2023.
