Nominations have opened for the 2026 Endeavour Awards, an annual program spotlighting achievement in Australia’s manufacturing sector, organisers announced.

The awards, presented by Manufacturers’ Monthly, are described as a national initiative to recognise innovation, leadership and excellence in manufacturing, with an emphasis on firms and technologies developed or commercially available in Australia.

According to the announcement, entries are being sought from manufacturing companies, sites and executives that meet eligibility criteria, including residency and operational requirements in Australia.

Nominations are accompanied by supporting materials and images, and must be completed in one sitting; once submitted, they cannot be withdrawn, the announcement said.

The programme covers a range of awards aimed at different aspects of manufacturing performance and innovation, such as advanced manufacturing excellence and sector-specific categories that recognise achievements in areas like health technology, aerospace, food and beverage manufacturing, and transport.

Leadership and emerging talent within the industry are also among the fields acknowledged. A Manufacturer of the Year accolade will be chosen from category winners.

Organisers noted that finalists must ensure representation at the gala awards event, scheduled for May 13, 2026, during Australian Manufacturing Week in Brisbane, where winners will be announced.

In response to the call for nominations, industry groups and potential nominees have highlighted the awards as an opportunity to raise the profile of manufacturing achievements domestically and to share stories of success across sectors, though some observers noted that competitive awards programmes also bring pressure to demonstrate quantifiable outcomes in innovation and growth.

Coverage of past Endeavour Awards shows recognition of a broad range of manufacturers, from large enterprises to emerging start-ups, underscoring the diversity of the sector.

Applications for the 2026 Endeavour Awards remain open until the published deadline for submission, as stated in the announcement.
