BioPak has announced the return of its limited-edition OzHarvest Christmas Cup, aiming to combine festive spirit with social impact by supporting food rescue and sustainability efforts across Australia.

In a news release, BioPak said that throughout November, all 8oz and 12oz Art Series BioCups – in both single and double wall formats – will feature a festive Christmas design and a QR code that allows coffee drinkers to donate directly to OzHarvest.

The initiative forms part of BioPak’s ongoing partnership with the food rescue organisation, which began in 2013.

As part of the campaign, BioPak will donate 5 per cent of profits from all Christmas Cup sales during November to OzHarvest.

According to the company, every dollar contributed helps deliver two meals to people in need.

“Christmas is a time of generosity and connection,” said BioPak Co-founder Richard Fine. “We’re proud to continue our long-term partnership with OzHarvest to support Australians facing food insecurity. By simply enjoying a coffee, people can fund meals for those who need them most.”

The limited-edition BioCups are certified industrially compostable, aligning with BioPak’s broader sustainability goals and its commitment to promoting a “world without waste.”

OzHarvest Joint Head of Impact, Hally Lara, said the partnership helps raise awareness of food insecurity while spreading seasonal cheer.

“We’re excited to see the return of these festive cups, which not only brighten up cafes and restaurants this festive season but also provide a simple way for everyone to make a real difference,” Lara said. “Every cup sold helps us provide more meals to people in Australia in need.”
