Capral has entered into a binding agreement to acquire Comsupply Pty Ltd, a Perth-based aluminium systems and hardware distributor, in a move aimed at strengthening its presence in Western Australia.
The acquisition will see Capral integrate Comsupply’s operations into its national network, expanding its offering in aluminium partition systems, wardrobes, and hardware.
With annual revenue of approximately $15 million and a customer base of more than 350, Comsupply has established a strong reputation in the WA market for service and innovation.
“Comsupply is a well-established and respected business in the WA market, and this acquisition provides Capral with a strong platform to expand our aluminium systems and hardware offering,” said Barry Lunn, Divisional General Manager – Capral Building Systems.
“We see a significant opportunity to leverage Comsupply’s local presence and product range, particularly the QRK partition systems.”
Comsupply operates out of Belmont and brings with it the patented QRK partition system, which Capral sees as a valuable addition to its product line with potential for broader national application.
The acquisition is in line with Capral’s strategy of enhancing its core business through the integration of complementary enterprises.
“Comsupply brings a loyal customer base, an experienced team, and trusted supplier relationships,” said Capral CEO Tony Dragicevich. “These elements will support our broader growth ambitions and enhance our capability to serve customers nationally.”
Capral, which operates six manufacturing sites and maintains an extensive distribution footprint across Australia, said the acquisition reinforces its commitment to delivering aluminium solutions tailored to the needs of commercial and residential markets.
The company said it looks forward to welcoming Comsupply’s team and customers into its network as it continues to expand its national capabilities.
