Renewable energy smart building materials company ClearVue Technologies Limited has raised AUD 4.6 million through a supported placement to accelerate its international commercialisation efforts and advance product innovation.

The company said the funds will be used to strengthen compliance and certifications for its Gen3 Vision Glass, spandrel, and cladding products, while supporting research and development and expanding its network of global partners.

The placement, conducted at AUD 0.18 per share, was “heavily bid” by both domestic and international investors, according to ClearVue.

ClearVue Managing Director and CEO Douglas Hunt said the strong investor backing reflects confidence in the company’s renewed strategic direction.

“I want to thank the investors that participated in the placement for sharing our vision,” Hunt said.

“The support of our stakeholders is and has been the driving force for me and our new management team for the last 90 days since we began to change the company direction.”

He added that the capital will be instrumental in completing international certification for the company’s new products and advancing the development of “world–first technologies to maintain and expand our competitive advantage.”

The placement attracted demand exceeding ClearVue’s original AUD 5.5 million target, prompting the company to scale back allocations to maintain fairness and minimise dilution. The board said this measured approach balanced investor demand with prudent capital management.

Under the placement, ClearVue will issue 25,689,625 fully paid ordinary shares at AUD 0.18 per share, with settlement expected around 21 October 2025. A 1:1 attaching option exercisable at AUD 0.20, expiring on or before 1 September 2026, will also be issued, subject to shareholder approval.
