The Detmold Group has unveiled plans for a new global manufacturing and corporate headquarters at Regency Park in Adelaide, bringing together up to 240 employees from across eight sites into a single, purpose-built facility by the end of 2026.
The three-level, 3,500 square metre headquarters will consolidate staff from Brompton, Hindmarsh, and Regency Park, including teams from Detpak, PaperPak, Detmold Medical and Cup & Carry, the company said in a news release.
It will be located alongside the Group’s existing manufacturing and warehousing operations, reinforcing Detmold’s long-standing presence in South Australia’s industrial heartland.
Chief Executive Officer Sascha Detmold Cox said the project is a major strategic investment for the South Australian-owned packaging and manufacturing company.
“Purpose-built with sustainability, collaboration and employee wellbeing in mind, our new corporate home integrates contemporary design with environmentally-responsible solutions and an open-plan layout that supports collaboration and innovation,” Detmold Cox said.
The headquarters is being developed in partnership with fellow South Australian family businesses, builder Centina and architects Studio Nine.
Designed with employee connection and comfort in mind, the facility will include open-plan workspaces, meeting areas, breakout zones, on-site parking, end-of-trip facilities, and a café that opens onto a terrace space for all-staff events.
The building will also incorporate sustainable design features to improve natural lighting, ventilation, and shading, supporting energy efficiency and a healthier work environment.
Detmold Cox said bringing the Group’s corporate teams together under one roof will strengthen internal collaboration and unify its workplace culture.
“Bringing our Detmold family under one roof will help foster stronger connections, knowledge sharing, and a unified culture aligned with our core values,” she said.
