The NSW Government is seeking to highlight the capabilities of local manufacturing businesses by offering co-exhibiting opportunities at Australian Manufacturing Week 2026, an industry event aimed at connecting manufacturers with domestic and international partners.

According to information released by the government, the manufacturing-focused event will run from 12–14 May 2026 in Brisbane, Queensland, and is promoted as Australia’s leading gathering for precision manufacturing.

The exhibition is organised by the Australian Manufacturing Technology Institute Limited (AMTIL), which represents the national manufacturing sector.

The NSW Government said participation at the event will provide a platform to promote the capabilities of manufacturers based in the state, while facilitating investment opportunities and highlighting support infrastructure such as the Advanced Manufacturing Readiness Facility (AMRF).

As part of its presence at the event, the government is offering up to seven NSW-based manufacturing businesses the opportunity to co-exhibit within the NSW Government stand.

Selected participants will be required to pay a co-exhibiting fee of $500 and provide up to two in-person representatives, with at least one representative required to be present at the stand during trade show opening hours.

Businesses selected as co-exhibitors will be able to showcase their manufacturing services, technologies or NSW-made products to visiting industry representatives, investors and distributors.

Participants will also be included in NSW Government promotional activity related to the event and will have the opportunity to use a digital display at the stand.

To be eligible, applicants must be NSW-based manufacturing businesses operating in sectors aligned with the government’s industry policy missions or the focus sectors outlined in the NSW Trade and Investment Strategy 2035.

These include housing, net-zero and energy transition, local manufacturing, agrifood and beverage manufacturing, defence and aerospace, digital technologies, life sciences and healthcare, and mining equipment, technology and services.

Applicants must also commit to showcasing a manufacturing capability or product at the stand and provide digital content for review and display during the event.

Applications will be assessed by a cross-agency panel of NSW Government staff. The evaluation process will consider factors including manufacturing capability, alignment with government industry priorities, innovation, marketability, growth and export potential, and the ability to service new customers.

Geographic spread and diversity of product offerings may also be taken into account when selecting participants.

Expressions of interest must be submitted online by 9am AEDT on Monday, 30 March 2026.

Successful applicants are expected to be notified by 6 April, while a small number of unsuccessful applicants may be placed on a reserve list.
