CWIEME Shanghai, a leading exhibition for coil, motor, and transformer manufacturing in the Asia-Pacific, is set to open its doors at the Shanghai World Expo Exhibition and Convention Center from June 24 to 26.

Pre-registration for professional visitors is now open, CWIEME Shanghai announced today.

According to the organiser, the exhibition’s 2026 edition aims to significantly expand its focus to embrace emerging technologies and markets.

The event will introduce dedicated zones and matchmaking initiatives to connect upstream component suppliers with pioneers in two hot fields: low-altitude aviation and humanoid robotics.

Materials suppliers, winding technology companies, and other exhibitors will have the opportunity to network with aerospace manufacturers and robotics developers, opening doors to these growing markets.

CWIEME Shanghai said the event will also feature an exclusive C-Suite Club to host high-level business discussions on mergers and acquisitions, global strategies, and technology development. This closed-door forum will bring together founders, chief technology officers, and investors from around the world to foster meaningful business relationships.

Over 40 expert speakers are expected to speak at the event’s accompanying conferences, delivering insights on wide-ranging topics, such as next-gen motors and transformers, EV powertrains, and the technical requirements for humanoid robots and electrical aircraft.

The 2026 event will span 25,000 square meters, hosting more than 300 global industry leaders and emerging companies.

Products on display will include insulating and magnetic materials, winding machines, iron cores and laminations, laser processing equipment, adhesives, and various components for motor and transformer manufacturing.

Organisers expect more than 13,000 visitors from key sectors, including power electronics, transformer manufacturing, electric vehicle motors, and industrial automation.

The conference program will feature more than 40 sessions covering topics from the low-altitude economy and humanoid robotics to electric vehicles, electrical equipment, electronic components, and university-industry collaboration.
