Sungrow Hydrogen has successfully shipped green hydrogen systems to projects in Oman, Italy and Brazil, expanding its international footprint across three continents.

The latest deliveries highlight the company’s growing role in the global transition toward green energy solutions, Sungrow Hydrogen said in its announcement.

In Oman, the company delivered 160MW of alkaline water electrolysis units to ACME Group’s green ammonia project.

According to the announcement, Sungrow Hydrogen’s in-house production management and automated assembly lines support the quality and scale needed for large-scale hydrogen deployments.

In Italy, Sungrow Hydrogen said it has shipped a 3MW containerised system for the country’s first megawatt-scale off-grid solar-to-hydrogen project.

This system will work with solar inverters and battery storage under the company’s HyBrain intelligent hydrogen management system.

The integrated solution combines solar power, energy storage, and hydrogen production to address challenges of using variable renewable energy with electrolysis when off the main power grid.

In Brazil, Sungrow Hydrogen completed the delivery of a containerised flexible electrolysis system for a green hydrogen project. The system handles the ups and downs of solar power generation while meeting strict international standards like ASME and ISO 22734, as well as Brazil’s local Inmetro and NR requirements, the company said.

Brazil will use this technology to test mixing hydrogen with natural gas, which supports the country’s shift toward cleaner energy and helps grow its commercial hydrogen market.

According to the company, these deliveries demonstrate their ability to adapt to various international standards and operating conditions in different markets.

“Looking ahead, Sungrow Hydrogen will continue to provide flexible green hydrogen solutions and work closely with global partners to scale up green hydrogen production worldwide,” the company stated.
