The Tasmanian government has launched the second round of its Small Business Incubator and Accelerator Program, allocating $1 million in funding for Tasmanian businesses seeking to get new ideas off the ground.
The program will offer up to $250,000 to individual businesses, establishing incubator programs aimed at nurturing innovative ideas and fast-track business development.
The effort aligns with the Tasmanian government’s efforts to support entrepreneurs and boost their role in driving innovation and creating new jobs.
“This program will drive business creation and support the success of existing early-stage businesses by providing them with specialist advice and support,” said Madelaine Ogilvie, minister for small business and science and technology.
“Guidance through this program aims to decrease risk and increase the sustainability and viability of new businesses,” Ogilvie added.
