Titomic, Alliance ink agreement for tech’s APAC distribution

Titomic’s Kinetic Fusion cold spray systems have entered the Asian marine industry with a new reseller agreement with Alliance. 

As a new partner for Titomic, Alliance will serve as an official reseller for the Titomic Kinetic Fusion systems within Malaysia and Singapore. 

Specialising in advanced surface engineering and repair-servicing across multiple industries, Alliance caters to a well-established clientele base across the Asia-Pacific region. 

The company primarily serves the $10 billion Singaporean marine industry, which employs about $100,00 workers and contributes 1 per cent to Singapore’s gross domestic product. 

Singapore also houses a massive shipbuilding and maintenance market, touting its fleet that represents 6.7 per cent of global shipping capacity. 

The reseller agreement is exclusive for Malaysia and Singapore for a year, subject to normal terms of termination. If Alliance fails to purchase a demonstration D523 machine from Titomic within six months or to agree to an annual minimum purchase obligations target with Titomic within 45 days, then the reseller agreement becomes non-exclusive, Titomic said in an ASX announcement

“Entering this market alongside Alliance holds tremendous potential for Titomic. As we continue to develop our cold spray metal coatings technologies, we will continue to capitalise on our competitive solutions for corrosion – a pervasive and costly issue,” Koeck said. 

The latest Asian agreement follows previous contracts in Australia, the United States, and Europe, and further supports Titomic’s revenue goals for the financial year, specifically surrounding the expansion of revenue expected from low-pressure cold spray, such as the D523. 

“Further, resellers such as Alliance are a crucial part of our efforts to succeed in scaling our sales in key regions. The engagement from Alliance means that we can seek out new applications for our cold spray technology, due to their expertise across a broad range of industries.”
