Crusader Caravans has expanded its manufacturing operations with the launch of Dreamhaven, a new brand aimed at giving Australians greater access to locally made caravans at a more affordable price.

The company said Dreamhaven combines Crusader’s decades of award-winning experience with practical design and full composite construction, delivering durability and comfort in a price range designed to compete with imported models.

Crusader Caravans founder and chief executive Serge Valentino said the move was driven by a clear market opportunity.

“We saw a real opportunity to create Aussie-made caravans that are both high-quality and affordable,”  Valentino said.

“The Dreamhaven range reflects our belief that caravanning should be simple, practical and accessible by more Australians.”

With prices starting from $68,990 or from $250 per week, the Dreamhaven range has been positioned as an entry point for travellers who might otherwise choose tents, cabins, camper trailers or older caravans.

The lineup features five layouts, with both on-road and off-road versions, covering solo travellers, couples and families.

Valentino said Dreamhaven is designed as “a simple range of high-quality full composite caravans, created for buyers seeking a straightforward and well-priced option. We’re talking darn good caravans at a darn good price.”

Crusader Caravans managing director Michael Paidoussis said the company’s strength lies in its commitment to local manufacturing. “The launch of Dreamhaven comes as Australians continue to favour products that are Australian-made and owned,” he said.

“One of our biggest strengths in the Australian caravan industry is having one of the most advanced manufacturing plants. Customers tell us they prefer to support an established local manufacturer they can rely on.”

The Dreamhaven models are built in the same facility as Crusader’s existing award-winning caravans by the same team of skilled craftspeople.

Paidoussis said manufacturing locally remains central to Crusader’s identity. “We don’t just assemble caravans — we manufacture them, and that makes a big difference. By backing local businesses, we’re not only keeping quality high but also creating jobs in the community,” he said.

The launch follows Crusader Caravans’ recognition at the 2025 Caravan Industry Victoria Awards, where it won the Excellence in Caravan and RV Manufacturing title for the fourth time in six years.

The award is regarded as the highest honour in the Australian caravan industry, recognising quality, design and innovation.

Dreamhaven caravans will be distributed through a network of specialist dealers across the country, with prospective buyers encouraged to register their interest online.
