CELO has expanded its global manufacturing footprint with the launch of a new certified production facility in Mexico.
In a media release, the precision fastening solutions manufacturer said the new manufacturing plant, located in Guanajuato, represents a milestone in its regional growth strategy and long-term commitment to the North American market.
CELO Group has operated in Mexico since 2013 as a logistics hub and commercial office, with the new facility building on that presence.
The site, situated about 30 minutes from Querétaro city centre, spans 2,238 square metres and combines office space, a production area, and a warehouse.
The company said the facility is certified to ISO 9001 and IATF 16949 standards and is equipped with advanced machinery capable of producing up to 250 million screws annually.
CELO stated that the additional capacity is intended to strengthen its ability to serve customers across North America and improve responsiveness to demand across industries including automotive, electronics, medical technology, and industrial applications.
With the Mexico facility now operational, the company said it operates manufacturing sites in Spain, the United States, China, Germany, and Mexico, alongside 10 logistics centres globally.
It added that the expansion supports its broader objective of maintaining proximity to key markets and customers.
Headquartered in Barcelona, CELO has specialised in fastening solutions since 1963, focusing on the design, manufacture, and distribution of precision screws and assembly components for a range of materials and applications.
