H&H Group, the global health and nutrition company behind Swisse, Biostime, and Zesty Paws, has officially opened its new 17,000-square-metre National Operations Centre in Victoria, marking a significant milestone in the Group’s Australian manufacturing and export operations.
The new facility consolidates H&H Group’s TGA-licensed packing, operations, warehousing, and product development into a single purpose-built site, as revealed in a news release.
According to the company, the centre will support the production of more than seven million Swisse vitamin bottles annually across three fully automated packing lines – each capable of processing up to 45,000 bottles per day – for export to over 15 countries worldwide.
In a statement, H&H Group said the investment reflects its ongoing commitment to strengthening its operational base and manufacturing footprint in Victoria.
“This investment signifies H&H Group’s commitment to strengthening our distribution and operations in Victoria, the home state where the iconic Swisse brand was born,” said Nick Mann, Global Group Co-CEO and Regional CEO, Asia and ANZ.
“This strategic move enhances efficiency, builds a more agile and responsive supply chain, and future-proofs our operations.”
Situated within the Horizon 3023 industrial estate – co-owned by Dexus Wholesale Property Fund and Dexus Australian Logistics Partner – the centre employs over 100 people and serves as a major export hub for H&H Group’s growing international markets, including China, New Zealand, Singapore, Thailand, India, the UAE, the United States, and Vietnam.
H&H Group said the site was designed with sustainability front of mind. It features a 433-kilowatt solar array, rainwater harvesting systems, and electric vehicle chargers for passenger and freight vehicles.
“Centralising our sites near key transport corridors will also help reduce emissions, another important step in our emissions reduction strategy,” Mann said.
Dexus Executive General Manager, Industrial, Chris Mackenzie, said the project highlights a shared focus on sustainability and innovation.
“Dexus is proud to support H&H Group’s growth with the completion of the National Operations Centre at Horizon 3023,” he said.
“This facility showcases the kind of forward-thinking, sustainable industrial development we’re committed to — it’s about creating spaces where global businesses such as Swisse can thrive and grow.”
Reflecting H&H Group’s B Corp mission to promote health and happiness, the new centre also includes a fully equipped gym and regular wellness classes for employees.
The investment has been welcomed by the Victorian Government as a boost to local manufacturing capability. Minister for Industry and Advanced Manufacturing, Hon Colin Brooks MP, said: “We’re proud to back H&H Group’s new National Operations Centre – a major investment creating local jobs, boosting innovation, and showcasing the strengths of Victoria’s advanced manufacturing sector.”
Member for Kororoit, Luba Grigorovitch MP, added that the project demonstrates confidence in Melbourne’s west as a hub for advanced manufacturing.
“It’s wonderful to see a global leader like H&H Group choosing to grow its operations right here in Melbourne’s west,” she said.
“This new centre not only strengthens our local economy but also highlights the importance of sustainability, innovation, and advanced manufacturing – all critical to building a strong future for Victoria,” Grigorovitch concluded.
