Schneider Electric launches latest high-speed EV charging stations

Energy management and automation leader Schneider Electric has unveiled the EVlink Pro DC 180 kW, a cutting-edge fast charging station aimed at bolstering energy efficiency and minimising electrical costs.

The EVlink Pro DC, poised to transform the industry, offers a rapid charging capability that enables electric vehicles to achieve an 80 per cent charge in just 20 minutes, the company said in a news release.

This solution meets the escalating demand for EV charging in commercial and industrial settings and enhancing energy efficiency while simplifying fleet vehicle recharging.

Data revealed that transportation and buildings constitute a significant portion of global energy consumption, standing at 23 per cent and 26 per cent, respectively.

The EVlink Pro DC integrates seamlessly with load management systems such as EcoStruxure EV Charging Expert, facilitating real-time energy distribution from the building to the EV charging stations for optimal efficiency and cost-effectiveness.

Furthermore, its compatibility with building management systems like Power Monitoring Expert and EcoStruxure Building Operation streamlines daily operations by consolidating information into a singular, user-friendly interface.

Certified with numerous charging station management systems (CSMS), this solution provides building owners and charge point operators with the flexibility to tailor a charging system to suit their specific requirements, all while ensuring efficient management and oversight.

Schneider Electric offers comprehensive lifecycle support through a global network of technicians dedicated to enhancing the performance of EV infrastructure.

Services encompass commissioning, maintenance, and repair, delivered remotely or through on-site assistance, ensuring operational efficiency and peace of mind for customers worldwide.
