Victoria-based additive manufacturing company SPEE3D is slated to exhibit its technology at FABTECH 2023, North America’s largest metal forming, fabricating, welding and finishing event, which will take place from 11 to 14 September.

The event, to be held at McCormick Place in Chicago, Illinois, offers a convenient ‘one-stop shop’ setting where companies can meet with top-tier suppliers, view the newest products and innovations in the industry, and discover the resources to boost productivity and profits.

SPEE3D said attendees can visit its display at Booth A1040 to learn how the technology can help with the event’s theme of “Drive Manufacturing Forward.”

In particular, the company will showcase its proprietary Cold Spray Additive Manufacturing (CSAM) technology, which is capable of quickly producing parts from popular metal alloys, allowing different sectors to address real-time needs.

With the solution, SPEE3D said customers will be able to manufacture and finish parts within hours instead of days for any vehicle or platform, from a range of materials, such as aluminium 6061, aluminium bronze, and copper.

Conference tracks include automation, robotics, smart manufacturing, job shop solutions, stamping, finishing, workforce development, welding, and forming and fabricating, which will help attendees stay ahead of the latest industry trends and advancements to increase productivity and profitability, harness technology, and build a talent pipeline.

During the event, key speakers will tackle the trends and challenges in advanced manufacturing, which will focus on new trends and technologies changing the landscape of business.

The floor will also feature a select group of industry experts who will discuss the state of manufacturing in 2023 by analysing and debating the survey results and providing insights on the major issues affecting the manufacturing industry.

Along with the conference, a sizable exhibition floor will provide attendees access to more than 1,400 exhibiting businesses and suppliers showing the most recent products and ideas in every sector of the industry.

Attendees can choose from more than 180 curated sessions and workshops offering insights to transform their careers and business operations.
