ADMARES has announced a strategic collaboration with ABB Robotics aimed at advancing manufacturing capabilities in modular construction through automation, artificial intelligence, and digitalisation.
In a media release, ADMARES said the partnership will see ABB Robotics supply robotics, AI-powered software, and hardware across its future production platforms, forming a core component of its industrialised manufacturing model for housing.
The collaboration is also set to support the development of ADMARES’ planned Smart Factory in Australia, which the company described as a digitally integrated, AI-enabled manufacturing facility.
The project involves a broader network of international partners, including Porsche Consulting, MHP – A Porsche Company, Siemens, EDAG Group, and the use of NVIDIA technologies.
According to ADMARES, the Smart Factory will operate ??????? an Industrial AI Operating System designed to connect design, manufacturing, and operational processes.
The system is expected to incorporate robotics, digital precision engineering, AI-driven production planning, predictive maintenance, and real-time digital twin technology within a single data-driven framework.
“We are very pleased to welcome ABB Robotics as one of our key partners,” said Mikael Hedberg, CEO and Founder of ADMARES.
“With ABB Robotics joining our ecosystem, we are now completing the critical robotics component of our Smart Factory platform. Together with our partners in precision engineering, AI and industrial optimisation, ABB Robotics strengthens our automation strategy and enables us to build a fully integrated, next-generation manufacturing environment for industrialised housing.”
ABB Robotics said the partnership reflects a broader effort to bring automation into construction-related manufacturing processes, with a focus on improving safety, efficiency, and scalability.
“ABB Robotics is proud to collaborate with ADMARES in advancing the industrialisation of housing,” said Craig McDonnell, Managing Director Business Line Industries, ABB Robotics.
“By integrating robotics into advanced housing manufacturing, we can help enable safer, more efficient and scalable production environments. We look forward to supporting ADMARES in building the next generation of automated manufacturing platforms.”
ADMARES said the agreement adds to its existing network of technology partners and supports its ongoing strategy to position construction as an advanced manufacturing industry driven by automation, digitalisation, and engineering integration.
