Eight Australian agribusinesses involved in food production, meat processing and agricultural manufacturing have been named finalists in the 2026 Australian Export Awards, highlighting the range of products and capabilities supplying international markets.
The finalists in the Agribusiness category include businesses from the ACT, Victoria, South Australia, Western Australia, Queensland, New South Wales, the Northern Territory and Tasmania.
Among them is Victorian-based ProviCo Australia, which is transitioning from food-grade milk powder production to specialised dairy bioproteins for global health and nutrition markets. The company extracts dairy bioproteins from fresh milk at its Dennington operations, with export markets including the UAE, Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore and China.
Other finalists include HiveiQ, an ACT-based manufacturer of sensor-equipped beehives designed to monitor colony health, and Balco Australia, which exports Australian cereal hay and straw through operations across three states.
Western Australia’s Craig Mostyn Group, which operates across pork, lamb, beef and other agribusiness activities, was also named a finalist. Its operations include rendering animal byproducts into materials for further use.
The remaining finalists are Queensland’s Green Skin Avocados, NSW-based Gundagai Lamb, Northern Territory meat processor Rum Jungle Meat Exports and Tasmanian Quality Meats, a fully integrated meat processing and export business.
The awards also recognise agribusiness-related businesses in other national categories. These include Tasmania’s Bitwise Agronomy in Digital and Smart Technologies, NSW-based BioScout in Sustainability and Green Economy, and AgriGate Australia, Consolidated Pastoral Company, Dinko Tuna Farmers and Australian Longline Fishing in Regional Exporter.
Presented by the Australian Trade and Investment Commission (Austrade), the 64th Australian Export Awards recognise Australian exporters across 13 national categories.
Winners will be announced at a national ceremony in Canberra on 18 November, alongside the 2026 Australian Exporter of the Year.
