SugarCRM has reported that Australian manufacturer Speedpanel has made significant improvements in customer experience, project management, and operational efficiency by implementing its CRM technology.

Speedpanel, a national supplier of fire rated and acoustic wall systems, adopted the Sugar Sell platform to support its expanding operations and enhance coordination between internal teams, builders, and architects.

According to SugarCRM, the platform has enabled Speedpanel to streamline collaboration, increase visibility across departments, and significantly reduce administrative workload.

By centralising key activities – such as meeting logs, call records, installation reviews, and materials forecasting – within Sugar Sell, Speedpanel has been able to track every stage of a project from initial contact to final installation.

SugarCRM reported that this shift has resulted in up to a 50 percent reduction in administrative cycle time and saved Speedpanel over 30 hours per month in project management tasks.

The integration of SugarCRM has also allowed Speedpanel to digitise and accelerate its post-installation review process, which was previously managed through multiple siloed software tools.

Real-time on-site reporting, now embedded in Sugar’s system, has cut issue resolution times by an average of two to three days per project.

“Speedpanel is a perfect example of how Sugar can turn complexity into clarity and unlock huge gains in speed, accuracy, and teamwork,” said James Frampton, Chief Revenue Officer at SugarCRM.

“Their manufacturing operations now run with greater precision and responsiveness, leading to improved customer experiences and compliance outcomes.”

The CRM solution is also supporting Speedpanel’s data-driven training efforts. SugarCRM said the system helps identify recurring non-conformities and skill gaps among installers, allowing Speedpanel to develop targeted educational content to address these challenges and improve performance in the field.

“With our expansion and growth, it became essential to adopt a robust platform that offered real-time automation, clear visibility into team activities, and timely updates on interactions with stakeholders and builders across different regions and projects,” said Peter Lorenc, National Sales and Marketing Manager at Speedpanel.

“Sugar Sell has ushered in a new era of efficiency and data-driven consistency across our operations.”

SugarCRM delivers sales software designed for complex industries such as manufacturing, wholesale, and distribution.
