Australian mission-critical communications provider Eylex has been appointed the exclusive in-country distributor for INVISIO’s tactical communications solutions across Australia and New Zealand, effective 28 September 2026.
The appointment covers INVISIO’s portfolio of tactical communications, hearing protection and systems integration solutions for the Defence and Public Safety sectors. Eylex said the arrangement will provide customers with in-country technical assistance, servicing, warranty support and systems integration.
The partnership expands Eylex’s existing relationship with Racal Acoustics, which is now part of the INVISIO Group. Eylex has exclusively represented Racal Acoustics in Australia and New Zealand since 2003.
Eylex said the expanded arrangement is intended to strengthen local access to INVISIO’s communications technologies as Australia and New Zealand continue to modernise their defence capabilities.
Eylex General Manager Simon Coates said the appointment would expand the company’s ability to support customers across the two markets.
“This expanded partnership significantly strengthens the capabilities and support we can deliver to the Defence and Public Safety sectors across Australia and New Zealand,” Coates said.
“It positions us to support the industries’ evolving requirements over the coming decade, combining proven global technology with local integration, servicing and technical expertise to help build more connected, resilient and integrated forces.”
The appointment follows Eylex’s acquisition by GME, an Australian manufacturer of radio frequency communication technology products. According to Eylex, the combination brings together GME’s more than 60 years of communications technology experience with Eylex’s expertise in mission-critical communications.
The company said the expanded capabilities will support its work with global defence technology partners while providing local technical and service capabilities in Australia and New Zealand.
INVISIO VP of Sales & Marketing Mathias Rosvall said the partnership would combine the company’s broader product portfolio with Eylex’s established regional presence.
“Eylex has built a strong understanding of the Australian and New Zealand defence markets through its longstanding representation of Racal Acoustics,” Rosvall said.
“By appointing Eylex as our exclusive in-country distributor, we are bringing together INVISIO’s complete portfolio with a partner that understands the operational needs of customers in the region.”
Eylex is expected to showcase the expanded INVISIO portfolio at upcoming industry events, including Land Forces in October and MILCIS in November.
