Australian RV maker Jayco Australia has unveiled its 2023 line, the Wren Camper Trailer and the Jpod-X, along with improvements on existing caravans such as enhanced off-grid capabilities, increased safety features, and elevated interior and exterior designs.

The Wren is Jayco’s entry-level Camper Trailer, and it includes a 100 Ah battery, a 95L fridge exterior, and a slide-out kitchen with a two-burner cooktop, according to a media release by the company.

It comes with a basic Bush Pack modification that includes an underslung axle, upgraded suspension, a high lift jack, and protective side checker plates, making it suited for greater travel.

On the other hand, the JPod-X, on the other hand, expands the company’s popular Jpod line with side entry doors, a rear kitchen hatch with an upright fridge, and a slide-out kitchen in the back quarter.

The JPod-X also features a 270-degree Escape by Jayco awning to provide a practical, undercover meal preparation area.

The RV manufacturer introduced Off Grid-X upgrade by featuring an additional spec option with its new Intelli-Jay High Power management system, 400AH lithium battery, 3x 200W solar panels with 40AH solar controller, 180 AMP charging and a 3000W inverter.

Off Grid-X is currently available on Jayco All-Terrain Caravans, with plans to expand to other models later this year.

Additional improvements, such as the new water filler plumbing console, have been implemented across the range, providing greater protection for plumbing outlets, improved internal cupboard space, and a pressure fill inlet for quick water tank filling.

Jayco said it continues to place a high premium on safety innovation by adding anti-lock braking systems to its All-terrain Caravan and Pop Top product lines.

The All-Terrain Pop Tops and Caravans have also received larger shock absorbers, which enhances the drive and further boosts RV stability, according to the company.

The core of what the Jayco team stands for, according to Jayco National Sales Manager Scott Jones, is providing a dependable caravan made in Australia for Australian conditions.

“The trend of off-grid RVing continues to grow, so we have kept this in mind when working on improvements and innovation in our solar and battery offerings across the range as well as the introduction of the Off Grid-X upgrade,” Jones said.

“Jayco caravan owners can rest assured that they are in good hands, with access to the largest and most comprehensive genuine parts and servicing network across Australia and New Zealand,” the company official added.
