Australian Manufacturing Week (AMW) 2027 will bring manufacturers, technology suppliers and industry professionals together in Melbourne from 11–14 May, with the exhibition set to feature technologies and equipment across six manufacturing-related product zones.

The event will be held at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre (MCEC), with organisers announcing the dates in a recent LinkedIn post and confirming that visitor registration will open in early 2027. Admission is free for trade personnel, although all visitors must register before attending.

AMW’s six product zones will cover machine tools, additive manufacturing, the Australian Manufacturer’s Pavilion, manufacturing solutions, robotics and automation, and weld and air solutions.

The machine tools zone will focus on metalworking and related equipment, including computer numerical control (CNC) machinery, lathes, mills, cutting tools, forming and fabrication machines, and precision machining. The additive manufacturing zone will feature 3D printing technologies and related suppliers.

The Australian Manufacturer’s Pavilion will showcase Australian precision engineering and advanced manufacturing businesses, including component manufacturers, toolmakers and general engineering companies. The manufacturing solutions zone will cover supporting technologies and services such as materials handling, warehousing, logistics, safety equipment, manufacturing software, training and recruitment.

Robotics and automation will form another part of the exhibition, alongside the weld and air solutions zone, which will feature welding technologies and compressed-air applications used in industrial processes.

According to the event’s official website, AMW is organised around opportunities for manufacturers and suppliers to present products, connect with industry professionals and explore manufacturing technologies. The website also invites businesses to enquire about exhibiting, with further information about the 2027 event to be released over the coming months.

The exhibition’s published opening hours are 9.30am to 5.30pm on Tuesday 11 and Wednesday 12 May, 9.30am to 6.30pm on Thursday 13 May, and 9.30am to 3.30pm on Friday 14 May.

Visitors will need a registered name badge and photo identification to enter. The event will take place at MCEC, 2 Clarendon Street, South Wharf, Victoria.

AMW 2027 follows previous editions of the exhibition, with the organisers using their latest LinkedIn post to encourage industry participants to save the dates. Details about exhibitors, speakers and other event activities are expected to be announced in the months ahead.
