Newcastle-based MITS Alloy, renowned for its heavy-duty aluminium Ute trays and canopies, has embraced advanced manufacturing technologies to enhance production efficiency and broaden its manufacturing capabilities.

The Hunter Manufacturing Awards (HMA) announced its coveted list of finalists for 2023 with the winners to be revealed on 20 October at the Newcastle Exhibition & Convention Centre in New South Wales. 

Organics recycling and management specialist Loop Organics said its compost recycles by-products from sewage treatment that created a high-quality, nutrientrich soil conditioner dubbed 'Biomix.'

MITS Alloy announced a number of initiatives to strengthen its manufacturing capabilities in order to expand its global footprint and customer reach, including the transition to a new manufacturing facility and the development of its distribution partner platform in the United States, South America, and Indonesia.
