Tynbell Sheetmetal, a family-owned sheet metal manufacturer headquartered in Adelaide, announced the delivery of its new Bystronic Xpert Pro Press Brake Machine, enabling metals to be processed faster to accommodate growing industry demands.

In a press release, the manufacturer said the investment in the new machine allows them to operate at the forefront of complex defence and aerospace projects while also reducing power consumption by up to 30 per cent.

“Our new press brake is designed to process and bend metal faster, with greater flexibility, repeatability and accuracy,” said Tynbell Managing Director Raymond Fenech.

He added, “The machine incorporates cutting-edge technology to meet the demands of the Defence Industry.”

In addition to the recent purchase, Tynbell Sheetmetal expanded its manufacturing facilities six months ago in a deliberate move to strengthen its skills, generating additional room to fulfil the specialised requirements of defence clients.

According to the company, the expansion marked the first milestone in Tynbell’s long-term growth trajectory, as it forges a reputation for unrivalled quality and precision in the defence and aerospace sectors.

With the introduction of the Bystronic Xpert Pro Press Brake Machine, Tynbell is poised to revolutionise its production processes, boost productivity, and create additional job opportunities.

Fenech also emphasised how the machine could greatly increase production, lower the possibility of human error, and guarantee the consistent delivery of high-quality goods.

“We have big plans, and the introduction of the Bystronic Xpert Pro Press Brake Machine is just a beginning,” the Tynbell official stated.

The company said its trend of recent growth is evidence of its commitment to making investments in the future.

The manufacturer also revealed its plans to implement a new ERP system and strive towards ISO 9001 certification, with a goal achievement date set for the end of this year, in order to further strengthen its commitment to quality.
