Davey Water Products, Australia’s privately-owned water industry leader, has appointed two new executives to strengthen its pool and spa division, as well as its national sales and service operations.

Hamish Caunter, with extensive retail brand management experience, has been appointed as Davey’s Channel Manager for Pool and Spa, while Mark Anning joins as the new General Manager of Sales and Service.

Together, they bring nearly three decades of industry knowledge to Davey, a company with a proud 90-year manufacturing heritage.

Davey COO Peter Wolff sees these appointments as central to the company’s forward-looking strategy.

“We are delighted to welcome Hamish and Mark to the Davey family,” Wolff stated. “While we celebrate 90 years in business, our focus is firmly on creating sustainable water solutions that empower future generations to thrive, and these roles are key to achieving that.”

Hamish Caunter’s career spans leadership positions at global brands like Wilson Sporting Goods and DC Shoes. Despite being new to the pool and spa sector, he is eager to bring a fresh perspective.

“I was drawn to Davey because of its authentic and premium positioning, rooted in its 90-year history and commitment to Australian manufacturing,” Caunter said.

“The opportunity to contribute to a brand with such a storied legacy, while leading the charge on a new retail-focused strategy, was something I couldn’t pass up.”

Caunter plans to focus heavily on training both internal teams and customers to elevate Davey’s presence in the pool and spa market.

“Over the next 12 months, our mantra will be ‘training, training, training’. We want to better educate both our team and our customers on our products, ensuring Davey’s service continues to set the industry standard,” he added.

Mark Anning brings over 30 years of experience in sales management, having previously led major divisions at Eaton, a global electrical manufacturer.

In his new role at Davey, Anning will focus on building strong customer relationships and expanding the company’s service operations across Australia.

“We will continue to build long-lasting, productive partnerships with our customers,” Anning said.

“Davey products and services will be available locally to communities throughout Australia via our Master Dealer network.”

Anning expressed his enthusiasm for joining Davey during its 90th year of operation.

“I am eager to work with Davey’s talented team to drive growth and deliver outstanding results for the company’s dealers, customers, and shareholders,” he concluded.
