Bosisto’s Multipurpose Cleaner has received a CHOICE Recommended endorsement for the fifth consecutive year, with the Australian-made product again recognised for its performance in independent consumer testing.
According to Bosisto’s, CHOICE assesses multipurpose cleaners under controlled laboratory conditions, including their ability to remove dirt and grime from surfaces. Products are also tested against plain water to determine whether they provide a measurable cleaning benefit.
Bosisto’s said its Multipurpose Cleaner has consistently ranked among the top products tested by CHOICE, providing what the company described as an indication of its cleaning performance and reliability.
“Receiving a CHOICE Recommendation for the fifth year running is a wonderful milestone for Bosisto’s and recognition of the performance consumers have come to expect from our Multipurpose Cleaner,” said Chloe Reidy, Senior Brand Manager at Bosisto’s.
The company said the cleaner is formulated with a plant-based, naturally derived formula and contains no added bleach, ammonia, chlorine, phosphates, sulfates, synthetic fragrances or dyes. It also contains a biodegradable surfactant and is palm oil-free and vegan friendly, according to Bosisto’s.
The product is also marketed as food-preparation safe and suitable for use in areas including kitchen surfaces and benchtops. Bosisto’s said it kills 99.9% of common household germs, including E. coli and Salmonella choleraesuis.
“We’re proud to make a product here in Australia that delivers on the fundamentals – it works, it’s made with Australian-grown eucalyptus oil, and it gives families a naturally derived option for everyday cleaning,” Reidy said.
The cleaner uses Australian eucalyptus oil grown and distilled at Bosisto’s farm in Inglewood, Victoria. The company said it has more than 170 years of experience working with eucalyptus.
The latest CHOICE recognition comes as Bosisto’s highlights investment in its manufacturing operations, following the opening of a new eucalyptus distillery near Inglewood.
According to the company, the facility is expected to more than triple its eucalyptus oil production capacity, create local jobs and support the continued growth of its Australian manufacturing operations.
