Two Cooperative Research Centre (CRC) bids from the University of Adelaide’s Institute for Sustainability, Energy and Resources have progressed to the next stage of the selection process for federal government funding. 

Minister for Industry and Science Ed Husic has announced 24 projects that have been selected to share $50 million in research grants from the Australian government, including a recycling facility for wind turbine blades and a project that seeks to develop revolutionary technology to produce qubits.

Researchers at Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre are set to receive a $1 million grant from the Victorian government for the development of new mRNA treatments for various hard-to-treat cancers.
