Advanced manufacturing company Titomic has received a purchase order from Lufthansa Technik AG to provide additional cold spray capability at the company’s facility in Hamburg, Germany.
According to Titomic, the contract is valued at more than AUD 1.2 million, with delivery expected in the fourth quarter of 2026.
The company said Lufthansa Technik has been using Titomic Kinetic Fusion (TKF) technology for aircraft part repairs over the past five years. The new agreement will expand that capability through the addition of low-pressure TKF systems within a turnkey spray booth environment.
Titomic described the agreement as part of its broader push to expand the use of its cold spray additive manufacturing technology across aerospace, defence, energy and industrial markets.
Titomic Managing Director and CEO Jim Simpson said the contract reinforced the relationship between the two companies.
“This new contract further solidifies our partnership with Lufthansa Technik AG and confirms their confidence in Titomic’s technology and capabilities to boost their capacity for the repair and maintenance of aircraft parts,” Simpson said.
“We are honored to support Lufthansa Technik AG in advancing their excellence in world class aircraft maintenance and repair.”
Titomic said its Titomic Kinetic Fusion technology is designed to support faster and more cost-effective production, repair and coating solutions for industrial applications.
The announcement was authorised for release by Titomic’s Board of Directors.
