Seventeen projects in Queensland are receiving up to $250,000 in grants each as part of the Queensland Government’s $3.4 million Micro-credentialing Program, which seeks to upskill existing workers and job seekers in the state. 

The Western Australian government has awarded more than $4.3 million in funding to nine health and medical startup companies as part of the 2022-23 Future Health Research and Innovation (FHRI) Fund. 

The Federal and Western Australian governments have allocated more than $30 million to boost the state’s waste and recycling infrastructure.

The Queensland government has awarded $20.5 million to 33 manufacturing projects as part of Made in Queensland (MiQ) grant program’s fifth round. 

The Australian government has allocated around $40 million to launch Round 15 of Cooperative Research Centres Projects (CRC-P) Grants, which will back small and medium businesses aiming to develop new technologies, products, and services.
