Manufacturing businesses have been among the Victorian exporters recognised at the 47th Governor of Victoria Export Awards, with companies from industries including agribusiness, international health, resources and energy, sustainability and manufacturing receiving awards.
According to the Victorian Government, family-owned skincare company Ego Pharmaceuticals was named Victorian Exporter of the Year, while ice cream manufacturer and supplier Bulla Dairy received the Regional Exporter Award.
Dimerix chief executive Dr Nina Webster was also recognised with the Global Victoria Women’s Award.
The winners were selected across 13 national categories and two Victorian-specific categories, highlighting businesses operating across a range of sectors and international markets.
The Victorian Government said exports remain an important contributor to the state’s economy, supporting high-value employment and productivity. In 2025, the total value of Victoria’s goods and services exports reached a reported record $78 billion.
The government said Victoria’s international network of 23 trade and investment offices is supporting foreign investment attraction and export growth across key overseas markets.
Small and medium-sized businesses are also being supported through the $34.9 million Boosting Victorian Exports Package, which the government said is designed to help businesses take products to international markets, identify new opportunities and diversify their customer base.
The Governor of Victoria Export Awards form part of the Australian Export Awards program. Victorian winners will qualify for consideration at the national awards, scheduled to be held in November.
