A manufacturing-focused partnership between Perfect Automation and Omori is set to expand, following the announcement that Omori has acquired a 50 per cent shareholding in Perfect Automation, in a move the companies say will strengthen packaging solutions for Australian manufacturers.

According to Perfect Automation, the investment marks a new phase in what it describes as a long-standing strategic relationship, with both companies aiming to support the evolving needs of the manufacturing sector in Australia.

The company said it has an established track record of integrating Omori packaging systems across the country, and the new ownership structure is intended to formalise and deepen that collaboration.

By combining Perfect Automation’s technical expertise and knowledge of local manufacturing requirements with Omori’s engineering capabilities and global innovation, the partnership is positioned to deliver tailored packaging solutions for Australian production environments.

Perfect Automation stated that customers can expect improved access to advanced packaging technologies, alongside a higher level of service and support as the two companies align more closely.

The collaboration is also expected to support the delivery of systems designed to be reliable and sustainable, while meeting practical operational demands.

The company added that the strengthened partnership will enable an expansion of service capabilities across Australia, with a continued focus on providing solutions suited to local manufacturing conditions.

No further financial details of the transaction were disclosed.
