Established in 1964, Selectronic Australia has been officially granted the use of the famous Australian Made logo by the Australian Made Campaign Limited (AMCL), bearing the descriptor “Australian Made & Owned” for its range of SP PRO inverter charger products. This also comes as the family-owned company enters its next phase of growth and moves into a new head office and production facility in Victoria.

Renowned in the industry for its unmatched performance and durability in the toughest environments, the SP PRO range of inverter chargers provide a reliable power solution for renewable energy systems ranging from 3kW to 240kW, powering everything from house boats to entire luxury island resorts. The logo mark with the descriptor “Australian Made & Owned”, will be added to the SP PRO series of inverter products going forward.

Selectronic CEO Rod Scott commented, “Selectronic has always been Australian made, but in these uncertain times there has been a renewed focus in Australia for supporting and buying Aussie made. We are extremely proud to bear this logo on our SP PRO series, not only for ourselves but also for our local supply chain that forms over 83% of components for the SP PRO range. Australia is a very proud and patriotic country, the fantastic work of the Australian Made Campaign and the famous logo, helps to highlight just what we can produce as a country. I firmly believe that Australia has the potential to be a world leader in the design and production of products for the Renewables industry.”

Australian Made Chief Executive, Ben Lazzaro, said, “We are delighted to welcome Selectronic on board as an Australian Made Licensee for their SP-PRO product range. Being an Australian family- owned business with a manufacturing history of more than 56 years, Selectronic is an exciting example of Australian manufacturing excellence gearing up for its next growth phase. The recent move to a new cutting-edge, larger production facility as well as the majority use of local suppliers for their Australian Made products is testament to the increasing demand for locally manufactured goods. By buying Australian now, not only are you getting products made to the highest of manufacturing standards, you are also pumping money back into the economy, creating jobs, strengthen local industries and supporting local communities.”
