Australian face mask manufacturer Detmold Medical has recently introduced a new line of Tri-Panel Respirators and Surgical Masks with Visors, aiming to provide wearers with enhanced protection, comfort, and improved fit.

The latest addition to their product range, the Surgical Visor, expands the Level 3 Surgical lineup, the company said in a media release.

It features Level 3 Surgical Masks with ear loops and head ties, accompanied by an integrated anti-glare visor that has undergone fog treatment.

Designed for use in healthcare, aged care, and dental industries, the Surgical Visor offers a secure fit and allows wearers to comfortably wear glasses underneath without compromising efficacy.

Moreover, the Tri-Panel respirator range comprises a Level 3 N95 Surgical Respirator, a P2 N95 Medical Respirator, and a Class P2 Particulate Respirator, tailored to enhance comfort and deliver superior performance in breathability.

These single-use, non-sterile respiratory devices provide the highest level of protection. The L3 N95 Surgical Respirator, equipped with red headbands, offers protection against high-intensity fluid sprays and non-oil-based airborne particulates and bacteria.

The P2 N95 Medical Respirator, featuring blue headbands, ensures comfort and high breathability while filtering out non-oil-based airborne particulates and bacteria.

Finally, the Class P2 Particulate Respirator, with grey headbands, is engineered to filter out over 95 per cent of airborne particles such as dust, smoke, and mist, ensuring both comfort and security.

Rodney Detmold, CEO of Detmold Medical, emphasised that the expansion of the mask range underscores the company’s commitment to manufacturing products in Australia with advanced capabilities and capacity.

He stated, “These masks have been designed and manufactured to meet local and international standards, tested for splash resistance and to meet performance requirements in the company’s state-of-the-art laboratory.”

Detmold said these Australian-made products are now available nationwide.
