Local manufacturers will come together in September for the Manufacturers Meet-Up, an industry networking and knowledge-sharing event hosted by Advance Rockhampton in partnership with the Rockhampton Manufacturing Hub.
The event will take place on Friday, 19 September 2025, from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at Blank Cheque Trading Co. on East Street, Rockhampton City.
Organisers said the gathering is designed to support the region’s $1 billion manufacturing sector by providing businesses with an opportunity to connect, share ideas, and hear updates on industry trends and government programs.
Attendees will be briefed on the state of manufacturing in Queensland, upcoming grant funding opportunities through the Queensland Manufacturing Hubs initiative, and ways government and industry can strengthen collaboration.
Practical advice for small- and medium-sized manufacturers on reducing waste and improving efficiency will also be featured.
Advance Rockhampton said the meet-up aims to create stronger networks within the local manufacturing community and deliver practical value for businesses navigating industry challenges.
