Engineering and construction firm Saunders International has bagged a total of $18 million from its new contracts in the oil, water and new energy sectors.

The ASX-listed company tackled its new project awards including the design and construction of a two mega litre column supported tank for Fulton Hogan in the water sector, Victoria

Saunders also plans to design and build two water and two diesel tanks for engineering company UGL on a new energy project in New South Wales.

In addition to these two projects, Saunders also intends to work on mechanical modifications, supply and installation of two aluminium geodesic dome roofs at BP’s Bulwer Island fuel terminal in Queensland.

The company noted these initiatives will contribute to Saunders’ revenue and earnings through FY23 and into FY24.

“These project wins are especially pleasing as they will be delivered across the water, new energy and oil and gas sectors,” Saunders’ Managing Director and CEO Mark Benson said.

The CEO also emphasized the company’s intention to maintain its solid track record of providing bulk liquid storage solutions to both current and potential clients.

“These projects will enable the Group to utilise its established plant and equipment, and experienced workforce on the East coast,” Mr Benson added.

Saunders said it will announce its FY23 half-year results to the market on 24 February 2023.

Established in 1951, Saunders International is an engineering and construction company providing design, fabrication, construction, shutdown, maintenance and industrial automation services to organisations across Australia and the Pacific Region.
