Western Australia has taken a step towards locally manufacturing advanced cancer therapies, with Royal Perth Hospital licensed to manufacture CAR T-cells and becoming the first hospital in Australia authorised to manufacture tumour-infiltrating lymphocytes (TILs) for clinical trials.
