“BAE Systems and the SAW have worked as a team over the last 10 years to provide quality aircrew training for the Australian and New Zealand Defence Forces. The Airborne Navigation Trainer is a world class training system and we look forward to continuing this relationship for many more missions,” said Commanding Officer School of Air Warfare, WGCDR Craig Stallard.

“The NTP entered into service in 2004 and ever since, the team has achieved systems availability at 100%. I congratulate the NTP project team in both Edinburgh Parks and East Sale on the achievement of this milestone,” said Director Aerospace, BAE Systems, Steve Drury.

According to the news release by BAE Systems, aside from Mr Stallard and Executive Officer LCDR Phil Woodward, Mr Peter Farrell and Ms Gail Carvolth from the Training Aircraft Systems Project Office, the maintenance team from Hawker Pacific and the 32 Squadron crew and students also attended the ceremony at the RAAF Base East Sale, Victoria, where BAE Systems is currently under contract until July 2016 for the Through Life Support of the NTP.
