Medicinal cannabis and industrial hemp business ECS Botanics has reached a five-year agreement with Polish company Alivio Spolka for the supply of GMP manufactured medicinal cannabis products.

The $4.5 million year deal will see ESC supply a $0.9m worth of products per annum to Warsaw-based Alvio through its Murray Meds licence.

The products will be used to supplement the Alivio’s existing medicinal cannabis CBD range currently being sold through clinics and pharmacy networks across Poland.

Managing Director, Alex Keach said first supply is expected to occur later this year following completion of product registration.

“We are very excited to partner with Alivio Spolka,” Mr Keach continued.

“This agreement highlights the increasing demand for our Australian grown product and marks the scale up of our global export sales initiatives.

“We have a strong pipeline building in both local and international markets, which will translate to further revenue growth.”

ECS, which recently commenced the installation of a further 2,100m2 protected cropping enclosures at its Victorian site, said the new grow facilities would be ready for cultivation in October 2021, allowing it to meet growing customer demand and anticipated future orders.
