Premier Energies to open a 1.5 GW solar manufacturing plant in India

Premier Energy, a leading manufacturer and exporter of solar products, is building a new solar cell and module manufacturing plant at E-City Hyderabad in India.

The new state-of-the-art facility will triple Premier Energy’s current capacity, producing 1.5 GW of solar cells and modules as against the current capacity of 500 MW.

Expected to be commissioned in the next 2 months, the new manufacturing unit will incorporate Monocrystalline PERC technology to produce MCCE textured multi-crystalline cells as well as Mono PERC cells.

Making the announcement, Chiranjeev Saluja, Founder and Managing Director, Premier Energies said the new venture will position the company amongst the top 5 solar manufacturing companies in India.
