The Australian Manufacturing Growth Centre (AMGC) will host a workshop focused on helping manufacturers begin or strengthen their export capability during Australian Manufacturing Week in Brisbane on 13 May 2026.

The event, titled AMGC Connect: Starting your export journey with Export Finance Australia – Brisbane, will be held at the Brisbane Convention and Exhibition Centre from 1:30 pm to 4:30 pm AEST.

According to AMGC, the in-person session is aimed at manufacturers and businesses operating within export supply chains that are seeking to build international capability and better understand available financial and government support.

The workshop will feature speakers and representatives from Export Finance Australia, BDO and Trade and Investment Queensland, with discussions expected to cover export fundamentals, offshore growth opportunities, export-related tax and tariff considerations, and support programs available through state and federal governments.

AMGC said the session is designed to provide practical guidance for businesses looking to expand through export-related contracts and manage the financial requirements associated with international purchase orders.

The workshop is targeted at manufacturers preparing to enter international markets, businesses seeking to better understand export regulations and compliance requirements, and companies involved in international supply chains.

AMGC said attendees would also receive insights into Export Finance Australia’s role in supporting manufacturers and export supply chain businesses, alongside information on economic conditions and market opportunities abroad.
