Chinese machinery manufacturer Zoomlion Heavy Industry Science & Technology has introduced its new embodied intelligence operating system, Robot Ops, at Hannover Messe 2026 in Germany.
Zoomlion showcased the system’s industrial applications alongside demonstrations of industrial AI and intelligent manufacturing solutions at the industrial event, running from April 20 to 24.
Robot Ops is designed for the “Software 3.0 era” and brings together three critical operational approaches – DevOps, DataOps, and AgentOps – into a comprehensive solution that coordinates development across software, data, and intelligent agents.
The system features four key components – basic tools, imitation learning, reinforcement learning, and task orchestration. This enables full-lifecycle management from data collection and model training to simulation verification, application development and deployment maintenance.
Robot Ops specifically targets four persistent industry challenges: high technical barriers, difficulties in migrating between different scenarios, bottlenecks in data handling, and inadequate lifecycle management.
The company says the system provides a standardised development path that can be applied across multiple technologies, including humanoid robots, industrial robots, construction machinery, and autonomous driving systems.
Visitors to Hannover Messe can witness live demonstrations of Robot Ops in action, with a wheeled humanoid robot working alongside a logistics mobile robot to complete sorting tasks. Additionally, Zoomlion’s first mass-produced humanoid robot, the Z1, is performing dance routines and demonstrating dynamic motion control capabilities.
Beyond robotics, Zoomlion is also presenting its vision for Industry 5.0 intelligent manufacturing solutions, including demonstrations from its Smart Industrial City project. The exhibit highlights how technologies like intelligent scheduling, industrial AI, digital twins, and end-to-end smart logistics are being integrated into manufacturing processes.
Zoomlion can be found at Booth D76 in Hall 15 and Booth D70 in Hall 11 at the China Pavilion. The company is also co-exhibiting with Amazon Web Services and participating in the “Invest in China” launch ceremony at the event.
