Intralogistics leader Swisslog will present its latest portfolio of scalable warehouse automation technologies at CeMAT 2026 in Melbourne, taking place from 23 to 25 June at Stand D27.
In a news release, Swisslog said it will exhibit alongside its parent company KUKA, highlighting what it describes as end-to-end automation solutions that integrate hardware, software, artificial intelligence, and services across the automation lifecycle.
The company said its approach forms part of the KUKA Group’s “Automation 2.0” strategy, which focuses on connected and software-driven logistics and production systems.
At the exhibition, Swisslog will showcase its AutoStore grid-based automated storage and retrieval system, the WonderStore 4-way pallet shuttle system, and its SynQ software platform. KUKA will present autonomous mobile robots from its KMP portfolio as well as industrial robotics applications.
Swisslog said these modular solutions are intended to improve storage density, throughput flexibility, and operational efficiency in distribution environments.
“Supply chains need to continuously adapt,” said Steve Dimitrovski, Director of Sales for Swisslog Australia and New Zealand.
“Our focus is on delivering automation that continues to perform as businesses grow, shift, and diversify – what we call being ‘Ready for the Next’.”
Dimitrovski also said the company’s framework is designed to reduce the risk of inflexible investment decisions. “Outdated or inflexible systems will reveal themselves through capacity constraints, costly retrofits, and technology decisions that become harder to unpick the longer they’re left,” he said.
Swisslog’s “Ready for the Next” framework outlines five pillars for future-ready automation, including modular scalability, outcome-led design, and integrated technology ecosystems.
During the event, the company will also host guided tours of the Mondelez International West Melbourne distribution site, which Swisslog said demonstrates a live automated warehouse environment.
Two tour sessions are scheduled to depart from the exhibition stand each morning during the event, with registration required due to limited capacity.
“These site tours are an opportunity to see automation operating at scale in a real-world environment,” Dimitrovski said, adding that the Mondelez facility has consolidated multiple distribution sites into a single automated operation to improve efficiency, safety, and throughput.
Swisslog also confirmed that its new WonderStore 4-way pallet shuttle system will be shown for the first time in the Australia and New Zealand market, describing it as a modular solution designed to scale storage and throughput as demand changes.
The company said CeMAT 2026 will provide an opportunity for attendees to explore current automation developments, while also offering tours of existing automated facilities across Australia and New Zealand for those unable to attend the exhibition.
