Titomic has received two purchase orders for its newly launched Titomic D623 medium-pressure cold spray system, for a total of $270,000.

The new D623 system is designed to deposit harder metals compared to the D523, enhancing the system’s key capabilities, including wear-resistant coatings and restoration of high-wear parts, among other additional product innovations.

The first order purchase was made by Germany-based Nueue Materialien Bayreuth, a global material science and innovation company that specialises in additive and traditional manufacturing methods.

The company plans to use the D623 system to restore metal coatings and parts for their client base and to further its research and development efforts.

The system has been built and delivered to the German company, with Titomic having recognised the revenue.

Spain’s Universidad Rey Juan Carlos made the second order, which is expected to be delivered in the near future.

The system is expected to expand the university’s current additive manufacturing range and also support R&D initiatives.

The new D623 extends Titomic’s product line and enhances the company’s commercial offering, delivering further product options and meeting the varying needs of key prospective customers.

With the new system’s addition, Titomic now offers a leading range of cold spray systems, cementing its position as a category leader, the additive manufacturing company said in an ASX announcement

“It’s exciting to have received two commercial orders from two innovative and leading organisations. These sales further demonstrate the growing trust and demand for our technology that’s building in key markets, such as Europe,” said Herbert Koeck, managing director of Titomic.

“The development of this System adds strength to our product portfolio, and further cements the Company as a leading cold spray and advanced manufacturing provider. Titomic now has a significantly varied cold spray offering, enabling us to add value to a broad range of industries and manufacturers.”
